We are looking for kind, reliable and motivated people to join our team as Care Assistants. Previous care experience is not required: if you have the right values, we will give you the training and ongoing support you need to feel confident in the role.
You will support adults in Bournemouth or Poole to live safely, independently and comfortably in their own homes. This is a varied and rewarding role in which you can make a genuine difference every day.

What you will do
Depending on each client’s individual needs, you may:
Provide companionship and encourage clients to get the most from their day
Support clients with washing, dressing and other personal care
Assist with medication in line with your training and care plans
Prepare meals
Help with shopping and light housekeeping
Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
What we are looking for
You will need to:
Be available for some peak times including early mornings/ evenings/ weekends
Weekend availability proportionate to your weekday working - can be alternate weekends
Hold a full driving licence that is valid in the UK
Have access to a suitable vehicle [and business-use insurance]
Have a genuine desire to help others
Be kind, patient, dependable and positive
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer or Healthcare Assistant is welcome, but it is not essential. People from customer service, retail, hospitality, childcare, education, beauty, catering, cleaning and many other sectors often bring valuable transferable skills to care.
